Dwarf Warrior

Hi all, here's a personal work that I've done trying to do a low-poly game character. Thanks to Bram for the character design. It took me about a month on and off working on this character, from modeling,sculpting,texture,rig,lighting, to compositing.
I'm looking forward to work on more low-poly characters in the future :D

Poison Rein - WIP 01

This is a personal work, where I saw my friend Kobe who is currently working in Ubisoft Singapore posted some of his doodles in Facebook.
I then asked his favor to develop 1 of his quick sketch with some preferences I gave him so I could do the modeling for it.
The img on the left is the concept design from him and the imgs on the right are the model blocking I did. Do wait for more wips!! cheers xD

Suntory Boss Coffee TVC

Here's another recent job done in Flystudio.
For this job I'm involved in lighting n compositing for some scenes.
It was a new experience doing this job especially when I went to the shooting session in Putrajaya for collecting camera tracking info and lighting references.

HornMan

Here's a quick work I did within 3-4hrs just to practise Zbrush and explore more.
Started with ZSphere and painted using Polypaint. It was really fun! :) Still trying to familiarize myself with ZBrush and will be posting more and better works in future.

Sagat - WIP_01

Hi everyone, here's another personal work done during my freetime which is still in progress currently.
Above is the wireframe, occlusion layer, and a quick comp.
Will gonna refine the character more, and create a background for the piece; still cracking out what kinda background to put though.

Will get it done soon and stay tuned to see the final version!

Legend of The Guardians contest

Being the one and only magic user among the Guardians, PERU considers himself as the "entertainer" of the Gahoole Tree.
He loves playing tricks with his specially modified claw that casts magic. Though it is entertaining for the owls to watch his performance but The Pure Ones should watch out for it because it could be vital when being used in the battle.
Same as the magically claw, PERU could be a "joker" most of the time, but when it comes to battle, never mess with him for you won't know what's up his tricky sleeve.

Mini Cooper Transformers

Inspired by the live action movie Transformers by Micheal Bay, here I created a Transformers character of my own during my free-time.
I've chosen a Mini Cooper as my vehicle just because it is my dream car and I would love to see how it looks like if it is a transforming robot.

I've explore alot especially in the lighting and surfacing while doing this work and there is more room for improvement I believe. Please do drop by and comment or critique, and I hope you like this Transformer! Autobots, transform and roll-out!

For this TVC i'm involved in modeling+texturing the Sikh character, and some animation.
The scenes I animated are:
- When prawns came out from sea.
- When the kids pull the string

Astro Byond HD TVC
Here's another project done in collaboration with few studios.
Directed by Al Isaac.
Penguin, Flower & End Tornado scn by Fly Studio;
and most of it are by Tiger Tiger.

What I did for this job are camera tracking, flower modelling, and compositing.

Canon Smart Auto TVC
Here's another job done in Fly Studio!
it's for Canon's product, introducing their Smart Auto function.

For this project, what I did was modelling some of the characters, lighting+compositing, camera tracking, animation, and also acting as extra talent. LOLL

Canon IXUS 120 IS - end up they changed the product model for promotion, so did not use this x)

These are Jetbot n Lensbot, the 2 characters I modeled for the TVC.
I personally like Lensbot!

Did learn alot from this project and hope for more cool projects to come in the future!

Astro One Malaysia

Here's my 2nd job done in Fly, for Astro.
What I did for this project was the Chinese scene, modeling the lotus and animating it including camera works.
Effects were done by the Motion team x)

Zdoodling

Used my freetime for self exploration, and did some 1st time try-out in ZBrush refering to Gnomonology ZBrush Manimal tutorial. Ended up came up with 1 of my favourite hero character, Wolverine xD an old 1. lolll
did some color touch up in Photoshop tho.

Mobile Suit WIP
Came up with few more thumbs and this is what I decided.
my concept is a simple police mobile suit, witht the gun and cuffs on each hand...haha yea, lamee..
while modeling it, realise the wheel thingy n half sphere on top is kinda disturbing and kiddy. LOL
so i took tht off and replace with legs. x)

there you go! x)
idea/concept and sketch done in a day, modeling done in 8hrs.
it's still a WIP tho, currently working on the UV and texture..
Need to put some colors to make it more like a cop? LOL
any ideas? xD

The Tank
Here's a work which I actually did like...2 months ago? and didnt touch it for quite some time..
opened the file again n did some touch up earlier just now.

it's a Japanese tank, built during the 1940s. so i went looking for the blue print.
a friend gave me this website and i find it really useful - http://www.the-blueprints.com/

so, i got my 1st step, getting the blue-prints.

then i look for the life reference, to see more details.
Note that your references' size have to be big enough! so u could enlarge to see clearer details..

n then i start searching for CG references to compare, how other artists build/design their tanks.

next, i start going into Maya and model!
1st i build the tank's head, then the body, and finally the wheels x)

and finally it's done!! but not textured yet. lol

here's the one with textures, lighting, rendered and composite.
i hope you like it x)
